The problem

Make a technical purchase (which string, at what tension) easy to understand for a local stringing service with pickup and delivery. Built an Astro site with React islands: the 'String Finder' quiz, a filterable catalogue with hexagonal radar charts, a side-by-side comparator for up to three strings, and a downloadable PDF catalogue.

Highlights

  • String Finder: 5 questions scored against 6 axes (power, spin, control, durability, comfort, tension), giving a top-3 with match % and a radar chart
  • 'Pro Tension System' design: black canvas, lime accent, 0 px corners, Saira Condensed + Archivo + EB Garamond
  • Static site that only hydrates the interactive islands; draggable marquee of monochrome brand logos
